Hear Me Now
The Mark of One Ordinary Pastor by Karen Lynn Sytsma
Have you ever encountered someone who changed your life?
Pastor Jerry Worsham did. At age eight, he met God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Thereafter, God influenced every encounter he had with every person he met throughout the world.
Pastor Jerry was an ordinary man born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1946. For thirty-five years he pastored an ordinary church, this church–Grace Church–in Racine, Wisconsin.
This page on Pastor Jerry and the sermons herein are just a snippet of his preaching throughout his pastorate at Grace Church and accompany a book written about him. The book, Hear Me Now: The Mark of One Ordinary Pastor authored by Karen Lynn Sytsma documents Pastor Jerry’s influence and the marks he made on ordinary people for God’s kingdom and glory.
Hear Me Now: The Mark of One Ordinary Pastor is available in both print and eBook formats on Bookbaby, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other online book retailors.
In addition to serving as the Grace Church pastor for thirty-five years, Jerry gave his time to serving on the board or chairing the board of South America Mission (SAM). All Hear Me Now book proceeds will be donated to the SAM Worsham Legacy Fund. The fund builds excellent leadership at all levels and cultivates stewardship though godly, organizational governance.
Jerry was married to his wife and ministry partner Jane for fifty-one years before he went into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 17, 2020. Jerry and Jane have two daughters Janna (Augustyn) Worsham and Jennifer (Binkley) Worsham; two sons-in-law, Tim Augustyn and John Binkley; and six grandchildren, Karis, Caleb, Clay and Kaya Augustyn, and Luke and Levi Binkley.
