Deacons

As an office that has been a part of the body of Christ since its very inception, we at Grace Church seek to be faithful to the pattern laid out in the New Testament by electing and activating deacons from our membership. The role of a deacon and deaconess is to minister to the congregation through meeting the many practical needs that exist amongst the people. They are to be the chief servants of the church and must be biblically qualified (1Timothy 3:8-13) as well as capable to meet the task to which they have been assigned.
