Acts 3:1-4:4 | Redirecting the Gaze and Praise of the People

Acts 3 tells us the story of the miraculous healing of the lame beggar at the temple gate and the events that immediately followed. Oftentimes when we run across biblical stories that include elements of the spectacular, we tend to focus squarely on the miracle. But this week’s passage is a demonstration of Peter and John’s intent to keep everyone’s attention on the risen Lord Jesus Christ.
