Prayer is a wonderful, awe-inspiring relationship with the mighty God of the universe who spoke this world into
being. He is a personal God who has made a way into His presence through Jesus. He invites us into His presence.
So we come, to worship Him and praise Him for who He is. We come to thank him for what He has done
for us. We come to confess our failings and shortcomings, seeking His forgiveness. We come to ask His help with our’s
and other’s needs, difficulties, and struggles. We seek His strength, peace, love, grace, guidance, and joy in
prayer.
Prayer is not demanding God - it’s submitting to Him. Sometimes it’s just about quiet listening. It’s about
trust and faith, trusting His personhood and work. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. He says to
cast our care on Him and He will sustain us. He may not take away the problem, but He will surely sustain.
Meet Him with anything in the place of prayer.
Accept God’s invitation. He says “call unto me and I will answer”.
